Systems Engineering

Rob Day has over 38 years of experience managing resources and high-performing organizations in System Engineering, System Architecture, Product Design, Six Sigma, Quality Management, Operations Management, and Project Management. He held various leadership positions at John Deere, and served as the Systems Engineering Enterprise Lead from 1998 to 2022. In this role, he was responsible for strategic direction and execution of the corporate Systems Engineering efforts, developing and sustaining methods and tools, and managing academic relationships and programs. He also represented Deere on the INCOSE (the International Council on Systems Engineering) Corporate Advisory Board (CAB).
 
In addition to his work at Deere, Rob worked for 12 years at Hamilton Sundstrand (formerly Sundstrand Aerospace), a division of United Technologies. Rob has also been an coach and mentor on system development projects for several Fortune 500 firms and is a ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Rob holds an MS in System Engineering and Management from MIT and Certificates in Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering Management from Caltech. He has a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Bradley University.
