Zeina Barrett serves as Sector Program Excellence Director for Governance and Project Management Development at Northrop Grumman Space Systems, where she leads enterprise efforts to strengthen program execution, governance, and delivery discipline across complex, mission-critical portfolios.
With more than 25 years of experience guiding programs through every phase of the lifecycle, Zeina brings a rare blend of executive-level program leadership, systems engineering insight, and deep technical fluency. She has managed scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, stakeholders, and supplier ecosystems across highly integrated hardware, software, and systems programs—often in contested, high-consequence environments.
Her career spans senior program leadership roles supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the Department of Health & Human Services. Across these domains, she has led large-scale initiatives from initiation through closure, delivering operational capabilities at sea, in the air, in space, and directly to warfighters. Zeina is widely recognized for elevating organizational project practices, strengthening portfolio governance, and driving measurable outcomes through disciplined risk management, prioritization, team coaching, and resource planning.
She holds a BA in Business and an MS in Information Systems with a focus on management and systems engineering, a graduate certificate in Project Management from UCLA, and has maintained her PMP(r) credential since 2011. She is currently completing an MBA, with plans to pursue a DBA.
