Dr. Crystal Dilworth has built a career at the intersection of science, public engagement, and emerging technology. Widely recognized as the Neuroscientist “Dr. Brain” from CBS’s Mission: Unstoppable, television program, she brings storytelling, science, and accessibility together to inspire technical leaders and innovators. Throughout her career, Dr Dilworth has developed communication frameworks for universities, science foundations, and deep-tech startups; advised research leadership teams on organizational strategy; and produced award-winning educational content for broadcast and digital media. Her clients and collaborators include organizations across the startup and enterprise landscape advancing progress with emerging technology. In addition to her role at CTME, Dr. Dilworth hosts Caltech's historic Watson Lecture Series, teaches communication and leadership programs, and hosts science-centered media projects. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from Caltech where she studied the molecular basis for nicotine dependence and a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego. In 2019 she was honored as an IF/THEN Ambassador for STEM by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
