With over 40 years of experience as a top executive in multinational manufacturing companies across North America, Europe, and Asia, Hannes Hunschofsky is a visionary transformation leader and an experienced board member. He has successfully implemented strategies for business turnarounds, growth, startups, acquisition integrations, and reorganizations.
Hannes is not just an international speaker on leadership, manufacturing, globalization, and business strategy, but also a dedicated lecturer on leadership, innovation, and technology for more than ten years. His commitment to sharing knowledge has informed and educated many in the field. Throughout his career, he has successfully led companies and teams of all sizes, from small groups of three to teams of up to 2,500 members. Working with world-class engineering schools, renowned technical universities, and global corporations, he has designed multiple leading-edge programs and curricula on leadership, including specialized areas like global supply chain management. His articles and papers have been published in numerous journals and books in the U.S. and Europe. He authored the book “10 Leadership Lessons Nobody Will Teach You,” released in 2024. In 2014, Hannes received the Grand Decoration of Honor for services to the Republic of Austria.
Since 2020, Hannes has been the Managing Director of EIT Manufacturing East (EIT – European Institute of Innovation and Technology), significantly contributing to the advancement of competitive and sustainable production for Europe as an industrial powerhouse.
