This 7-month online program experience is presented in collaboration with Simplilearn, which also operates select software engineering training programs and the Data Science Bootcamp with Caltech. Project 1: Social Media

Using NLP and Machine Learning, build a model to identify inappropriate tweets that should be removed from a popular social channel’s platform to mitigate social hate and negativity.

Project 2: Electronic Commerce

The data set provided contains movie reviews given by a video platform’s customers. Perform data analysis on the customers’ movie reviews data set and build a machine learning recommendation algorithm which provides ratings for each of the users.

Project 3: Automobile Manufacturing

An automotive manufacturer wants the time on its test bench to reduce the time it takes a car to get to the market. Build and optimize the Machine Learning algorithm to solve this problem.

Project 4: EdTech

Help Simplilearn assess the quality of e-learning videos freely available on YouTube to prepare high-quality and engaging video content for students.

Project 5: Healthcare

Analyze different types of cancers for ICMR, such as breast cancer, renal cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, and prostate cancer, that have been becoming a cause of worry in recent years. They want to identify the probable cause of these cancers regarding the genes responsible for each.

Project 6: Entertainment

Help an online content provider analyze whether a particular URL is prone to phishing — malicious — or not. This will help them push ads on their website without affecting their user privacy and restrict URLs that could contain a malicious link.

Project 7: Consumer Electronics

Help a leading mobile brand understand the voice of the customer by analyzing the reviews of their product on a popular online retail platform and the topics that customers are talking about. You will perform topic modeling on specific parts of speech, then interpret the emerging topics and context.
