Jen García, the founder of Ingrained.ai and the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Employ California, is an AI education innovator and experienced education specialist.
Through Employ California, Jen empowers job seekers with career advancement skills to bridge skill gaps and foster economic mobility through workforce development. Through Ingrained.ai, Jen furthers her mission by equipping underrepresented communities, educators, nonprofits, and small businesses with tailored, affordable AI training and tools, ensuring all thrive in the AI revolution.
Jen is a former English instructor with 16 years of teaching experience at institutions such as UCLA Extension, UCI Extension, USC, Cal State Fullerton, and in Taiwan. She also has four years of experience in workforce development and AI literacy training. She holds an M.S. in Education and a B.A. in English from California State University, Fullerton.
Jen has collaborated with esteemed organizations, including the County of Los Angeles, the Center for Nonprofit Management, and the Association of California School Administrators. Through her AI Executive in Residence role at the Goldhirsh Foundation, she has consulted for the Los Angeles Fire Department, Brooklyn Public Library, AltaSea, and numerous nonprofits. Additionally, through her volunteer work with Break Through Tech AI, she leads teams in developing customized AI/ML solutions.
